As you may know, during the weekend of July 16-17, a 10-mile stretch of the Los Angeles 405 freeway will be shut down for construction, displacing up to 200, ooo motorists and causing general havoc in the surrounding area. Media outlets are referring to the event as ?Carmageddon, ? which I find highly offensive. Everyone I love perished in a demolition derby at the La Cumbre County Fair by the very same name.
