The soup du jour I swim, bike, and run so that I can eat and drink more Home About me Every Little Bit Helps 1st June 2011 I did it! I went through an entire day commuted by bike. I logged' miles by the end of the day, saving approx $4.00 worth of gas. Most people may think that is a lot of efforts for saving 4 dollars, but it you do the math. Let?s say we pump 10 gallons a week into our car. @ 4 dollars a gallon, that is 40 dollars a week. By substituting'-24 miles of driving by bike
