Craig Hardgrove Ph.D. Student, University of Tennessee, Earth and Planetary Sciences Email: c h a r d g r o @utk.edu Advisor: Dr. Jeff Moersch Research Statement My research is on the use of thermal imagers and neutron detectors to characterize surface features that represent the action and/or history of water on Earth and Mars. I have collected aerial data with a high resolution thermal imager in Death Valley and Owens Valley, CA to study sedimentary features on alluvial fans. In most
