Angeles Crest Highway Fully Open to Forest Visitors Pasadena Star-News, 6/2/11: That flashing sign on the 2 Freeway advising motorists that Angeles Crest Highway is closed will be turned off today as Caltrans officially reopens the popular mountain road' months after portions of it were washed away by mud slides. Visitors to the Angeles National Forest will again be able to drive the full 66 miles from La Cañada-Flintridge to Wrightwood and continue to Highway 138 on the Antelope Valley
